My passion to innovate the feminine hygiene care market stems from my educational

background. I was premed concluding my undergraduate degree in Biology, when a longtime

friend came to me with a problem.

She said, “I really need your help.” Then proceeded to express that she has extreme flow during

her period caused by Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) that was debilitating her life. She was

at the point of sleeping on multiple towels, using two to three tampons at night, as well as

missing class and work.

I was moved that she would approach me with this. I felt that there must be a way that she could

live life. This was a challenge but I wanted to help my friend. Diving deep into research, I was

completely shocked at what was acceptable by the industry standards.

We had so many trials and errors with coming up with a concept that would break these

limitations. I finally came up with a solution that allowed her to sleep tight and also go out

without the worry of a leak. I decided to call it Pretty Panty because of the animal print and they

were so cute.

The research that I uncovered continued to haunt me. How could the government not regulate

these mainstream products that were closely tied to causing fibroids, ovarian cysts, ovarian

cancer and other long-term damage to the health of women?

I decided to give women a better choice offering full coverage, all-natural, and chemical-free

feminine hygiene care products. I want to lead the charge and teach women to ask questions

about things that are going on with their bodies.
